    Troubleshoot and fix common lead import problems.

    Common Errors

    "Invalid CSV format"

    Cause: File isn't proper CSV format

    Fix:

  1. Open in Excel/Google Sheets
  2. Save As → CSV (Comma delimited)
  3. Ensure UTF-8 encoding
  4. Try importing again
  5. "Required field missing"

    Cause: Contact Name or Company Name column not mapped

    Fix:

  6. Check your field mapping
  7. Ensure required columns have data
  8. Map to correct SalesOS fields
  9. "Duplicate entries skipped"

    Cause: Leads with same email already exist

    This is normal behavior. SalesOS prevents duplicates by email.

    Options:

  10. Skip duplicates (default)
  11. Update existing records
  12. Create duplicates (not recommended)
  13. "Row X has invalid email"

    Cause: Email format is incorrect

    Fix:

  14. Check row X in your CSV
  15. Correct the email format
  16. Remove any extra characters
  17. Re-import
