    Setting Up Pipeline Stages

    Your sales pipeline represents the journey from lead to closed deal.

    Default Pipeline Stages

    SalesOS comes with these default stages:

  1. Lead - Initial contact, not yet qualified
  2. Qualified - Confirmed fit and interest
  3. Meeting - Demo or discovery scheduled
  4. Proposal - Proposal or quote sent
  5. Negotiation - Terms being discussed
  6. Closed Won - Deal successfully closed
  7. Closed Lost - Deal did not close
  8. Customizing Stages

    Currently, pipeline stages are managed through the settings:

  9. Go to Settings → Pipeline
  10. Add, remove, or reorder stages
  11. Set win probability percentages for forecasting
  12. Choose stage colors for visual organization
  13. Best Practices

  14. Keep stages action-oriented (e.g., "Proposal Sent" not "Proposal")
  15. Limit to 5-7 stages for clarity
  16. Define clear criteria for moving between stages
  17. Use consistent probability percentages
